Thirteen

Today, at 11:59 a.m., I became the mother of not one, but two teenagers.  Dancer Sloth turned 13 today.  She's been acting like a teenager for awhile now (you know, eye rolling, heavy sighing, always being "bored" :-) )so it was just a matter of making it official.

But, other than that stuff, she's a wonderful kid.  She's a very smart, honor roll student.  She is an amazingly talented dancer.  She is the best big sister Fia Sloth could ask for. (We'll ask Emily's opinion on that in a few years.  Now is not a good time. ;-) )  She's courteous and  she's compassionate.   I imagine that she's going to grow up into quite a wonderful young woman.
